November 2022: 1. Treffen in Baden bei Wien

Von 6.-10. November hieß die BeyondBühne Vertreter_innen von drei europäische Jugendtheatern in Baden willkommen, um am „Digital Drama Workshops“ Projekt zu arbeiten. Die Online-Proben aufgrund der COVID-19 Pandemie dienten als Anlass für dieses Projekt, welches von Crooked House (Irland) organisiert und von Erasmus+ sowie Léargas co-finanziert wurde. Gemeinsam mit den Teams der Crooked House Theatre Company aus Irland, Associacio Juvenil Pirineus Creatus aus Spanien und Rogaland Teater aus Norwegen wird die BeyondBühne innerhalb des nächsten Jahres insgesamt 10 Videos, 40 Workshops und 1 Booklet für Theatermacher_innen weltweit produzieren. Die Materialien werden ab 2023 online und gratis zur Verfügung gestellt.

From November 6th to 10th BeyondBühne welcomed representatives of three European youth theatres to Baden, in order to start working on the „Digital Drama Workshops“. The project was created by Crooked House (Ireland) as a response to the online rehearsals and digital theatre making during the COVID-19 lockdowns. It is co-funded by Erasmus+ as well as Leargas. Together with the teams from Crooked House Theatre Company in Irland, Associacio Juvenil Pirineus Creatus in Spain and Rogaland Teater in Norway BeyondBühne will produce a total of 10 Videos, 40 Workshops and 1 booklet for theatre makers worldwide. Schon im Juni fand das erste Planungstreffen dafür statt, allerdings noch über Zoom. Die BeyondBühne organisierte nun den ersten persönlichen Training Course für die teilnehmenden Organisationen in Baden. Gemeinsam wurde ein Trailer für das Projekt gedreht und an den Inhalten der geplanten Videos und des Booklets gearbeitet.

The first meeting between the four countries took place in June via Zoom. Now, BeyondBühne organized the first Training Course, where the participants met in person. Together the Trailer for the project was produced and the teams started to work on the videos and the booklet.

Februar 2022: 2. Treffen in den Pyrenäen, Spanien

Im Februar 2022 fand das zweite Treffen der Digital Drama Workshops in den Pyrenäen, Spanien, statt. Filmpädagoge Tobias Vees reiste zur Partnerorganisation Associacio Juvenil Pirineus Creatus, um dort gemeinsam mit den anderen internationalen Teams die ersten Videos zu präsentieren und zu evaluieren.

In February of 2022 the second in person meeting of Digital Drama Workshops took place in the Pyrenees, Spain. Film teacher Tobias Vees visited our partner organization Associacio Juvenil Pirineus Creatus, in order to present and evaluate the first video, that had been produced since the last meeting in November.

Mai 2022: 3. Treffen beim Rogaland Teater, Norwegen

Im Mai 2022 reiste Theaterpädagoge Gregor Ruttner-Vicht zur Partnerorganisation Rogaland Teater nach Stavanger in Norwegen. Bei diesem dritten transnationalen Meeting wurden weitere Feedbacks zu den produzierten Videos und Workshops eingeholt. Auch dieses Mal waren Vertreter_innen aus Irland (Crooked House Theatre Company), Spanien (Associacio Juvenil Prinieus Creatus), Norwegen (Rogaland Teater) und Österreich (BeyondBühne) vor Ort, um gemeinsam an dem EU-Projekt zu arbeiten und sich auszutauschen.

In May of 2022 theatre teacher Gregor Ruttner-Vicht travelled to Stavanger in Norway, in order to visit our partner organization Rogaland Teater. At this third transnational meeting, further feedback on the videos and workshops that had been produced in the previous months was obtained. Representatives from Ireland (Crooked House Theatre Company), Spain (Associacio Juvenil Pirineus Creatus), Norway (Rogaland Teater) and Austria (BeyondBühne) were there to work together on this EU-project and to exchange ideas.

September 2022: 4. Treffen beim Crooked House Theatre, Irland

Das 4. Treffen zwischen den vier Partnerorganisationen fand im September 2022 in Irland statt. Theaterpädagoge Gregor Ruttner-Vicht reiste zur Crooked House Theatre Company nach Newbridge, um dort die bisher produzierten Videos zu evaluieren und die nächsten Monate des Projekts zu planen.

The fourth meeting between the four partner organizations took place in September of 2022 in Ireland. Theatre teacher Gregor Ruttner-Vicht travelled to Crooked House Theatre Company in Newbridge, in order to evaluate the videos that had been produced and plan the next couple of months of this project.
